Fall Parent Day

Woodstock Elementary School was a lively place last Tuesday, October 22, 2019, as the annual Fall Parent Day was held at the school. Parents came and assisted their children in a variety of ways. Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Second grade students worked on fall crafts; First graders made pumpkin catapult launchers and competed to see whose candy corn pumpkin could go the furthest; Third grade students turned into scientist and dissected owl pellets; while fourth graders introduced the rest of the school to halloween vocabulary during a vocabulary parade around the school. The day was finished off with the 1st Nine Week Awards Assembly where students were recognized for hard work and exhibiting good character traits. Woodstock Elementary School would like to thank all the parents who were able to come and participate with their children and we look forward to Spring Parent Day coming in 2020.
